Mercuries Life Insurance Co., Ltd. (MLI) was founded in 1993 and became a TAIEX listed company in December 2012. MLI focuses on high value-added products, including life insurance, health insurance, accident insurance, annuities, universal insurance, group insurance, and investment-linked insurance, and primarily operates its business in Taiwan through five branches offices located in Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Kaohsiung.
 
Mercuries Life Insurance relocates to the new headquarters building in Neihu in June 2022 to demonstrate its determination to operate the Taiwan insurance market.
 
Over the years, MLI has maintained steady growth in revenue, assets, and in-force policies, and is now one of the leading brands in Taiwan's life insurance market. In 2022, the number of our customers and policies in force exceeded 2.5 million and 4.5 million, respectively.
 
Mercuries Life Insurance has been actively developing potential market in Taiwan, with an emphasis on employee training and balanced organizational development. We focus on the needs of our customers and seek to strengthen operational efficiency while expanding our business.
 
We continued the channel strategy of giving priority to agency channel and supplementing with bancassurance and diversified channels. In order to strengthen the development of agency and sales expertise, we have added an additional section on the official website, and launched a new image advertisement and company profile video, showcasing this Corporation's professional image. We have also planned and organized a reserve plan, cooperated with education and training in each district, and assisted field colleagues in obtaining professional licenses to enhance the professional sales capabilities of various channel. In the future, we will combine digital technology applications to effectively improve the convenience of business colleagues' operations, and continue to invest resources to strengthen the ability of business units to increase the headcount, creating a high-quality agency that combines professional and sales skills.
 
The Company has adopted sustainable management as its tenet for many years and continuously complied with international principles to realize corporate sustainability from three aspects, i.e., E (Environment), S (social participation), and G (corporate governance). The 2021 year sustainable report published in 2022 has adopted the "Sustainability Accounting Standards (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB))" to disclose 14 specific indicators for the Insurer, and has obtained the confidence of accountants to strengthen information disclosure and enhance the credibility of ESG data.
