Board of Directors passed the resolution for “Mercuries Life Insurance Sustainable Development Policy” to create maximal value for stakeholders, including policy holders, employees, and shareholders, based on corporate governance, environmental sustainability, social welfare participation, and disclosure of corporate sustainability information. We are devoted to implement corporate sustainable development by spontaneously following UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) on 9 goals, including “no poverty”, “good health and well-being”, “quality education”, “gender equality”, “decent work and economic growth”, “reduced inequalities”, “responsible consumption and production”, “climate action”, and “life below water” as well as proactively responding to policies and legal regulations related to sustainability published by competent authorities, such as Corporate Governance 3.0 and Green Finance Action Plan 3.0. Through the promotion of sustainability organizations and policies, we ensure the consistency in sustainable management commitment and achieve the vision of “a professional life insurer capable of creating the best value”.
