The Company treats suppliers with fairness and integrity, adhering to the corporate image of '“a word of promise, a friend for life”'. We are committed to mutual development and long-term cooperative relationships. Our supplier management process, from selection to tracking, regular audits, collaboration, and continuous development, is all aimed at achieving future sustainable development goals.
Through our supplier selection mechanism, the company has accumulated over 330 qualified suppliers to date, 100% of which are local suppliers with basic experience and performance records. Through each transaction and acquisition, we not only continuously demand quality but also work hand in hand with suppliers for mutual development and progress.
Mercuries Life Insurance conducts annual evaluations of suppliers eligible for promotion to long-term partnership status. To date, 16 suppliers have obtained long-term partnership qualifications, making them our priority partners. The company not only trusts these suppliers but also expects to progress together towards sustainable development.
These 16 suppliers have passed several evaluations, including: compliance with Mercuries Life Insurance's supplier management regulations over the past year, emphasis on ESG, concern for environmental issues and non-pollution, adherence to international human rights standards and protection of labor rights, focus on corporate governance, and transparency and compliance of information. With these supplier partners, we can achieve our sustainable development goals together. The aforementioned evaluation is conducted annually, and if conditions are not met, the long-term partnership qualification will be revoked. The supplier would then need to go through the selection process again in the following year to regain long-term partnership status.
Mercuries Life Insurance hopes that suppliers can bear greater social responsibility. According to our outsourcing vendor qualification restrictions, we conduct regular annual or even on-site audits to understand the entire operation process and inspect the on-site work environment and network environment. We check whether employee education and training are implemented, whether relevant licenses and process controls are in place, whether confidentiality agreements are signed, and whether self-audits are executed. The company also pays attention to whether these outsourcing vendors have qualified licenses and if there is any negative news about them. Currently, there are 11 outsourcing vendors that meet the aforementioned qualification restrictions. They are all environmentally friendly, concerned about environmental and social issues, and are quality vendors with whom we hope to obtain more cooperation resources.
In the future, we will prioritize partnerships with suppliers who implement sustainable development, corporate integrity, environmental protection, and sound company management. We also hope that all suppliers can follow in our footsteps, reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, and move towards the goal of co-creating future quality of life, working together to protect the Earth.
Finally, Mercuries Life Insurance reiterates that we will not recognize the validity of any transaction not agreed upon by our procurement unit, without an official purchase confirmation stamp, or not personally confirmed by procurement personnel. Additionally, if any company employee or procurement personnel improperly accepts bribes, please report it to our company's whistleblowing mailbox.
We priority choose products with energy-saving label or recyclable and reusable when purchasing, such as computer, screen, eco-friendly carbon powder, to reduce carbon emissions in the supply chain.
